On tuesday, we discussed an article that we had to read for class. It was a really interesting article and could be viewed as opposite of the movie that we watched last week. The article was written by a professor at Duke, and the one year all the freshman received free ipods. The goal was to figure out ways to incorporate them into the class room and come up with different apps to apply it to the class. The article also talked about attention blindness which is when you focus completely on one task and then you miss out on everything else. The article mentioned how multitasking was a good tool for the 21st century.
On thursday, class was canceled because convocation was in the morning.
